Maxwelltown members welcome all visitors and New members to the Club.  The Club has two Greens which is perfect for holding all kinds of Bowling Events throughout the Season.  By joining Maxwelltown, not only would you enjoy the Bowls but the Social Evenings are a must see Experience and a great way in meeting new friends.

 

Maxwelltown also has a junior section which is gaining more popularity as the world of Bowls becomes more modern. (See below for Details)

Maxwelltown Bowling Club has so much to offer to People in and around Dumfries who love the game of Green Bowls. 

 

From a warm Welcome at the door, to the Friendly or Competitive games that take place throughout the Bowling Season, Maxwelltown always has something to offer.  Not only are there Friendly and Competitive games but Maxwelltown also hold County Games, League Games and Friendly games during the season . 

 

Visiting Clubs from around the United Kingdom are always welcome for a game of Bowls at our Club which are always friendly light-hearted and welcoming.  Maxwelltown is also happy to assist and supply Touring Clubs any Accommodation Information.

 

 

At Maxwelltown we ALWAYS welcome new young players. The world of Bowls has now had to modernize the game to encourage all young bowlers to take up such a great and challenging game.

 

BOWLS IS NO LONGER AN OLD MANS GAME!!!

 

Young players can now come down to the club and get Professional Coaching from a number of our top qualified coaches, who will guide them into this fantastic game.  Youngsters can just come down to the club with there parents and have a GO.  ( Contact club for more details)
